Short answer: NO
Definitely cool, definitely not worth $250. That sticker says $8.57, maybe I’ll offer that. I’m sure that will go well.

I did learn post purchase that the KC lights I bought are not compatible with the hard plastic covers. This means if I want smileys, I need to find a retro pair of soft vinyl covers to go over the grill guards. The grill guards seal the lights together, so taking them off is not a possibility either.
For now, I did purchase an all white set. Will paint either the lettering or the grill guards teal to match the rest of the accents on the van.

Given that I have nuked two sets of spotlight covers in my driving career (one vinyl set and one hard plastic set) spending that sort of coin would be foolish in my opinion . More recently, the last set that were destroyed was killed by 15 years of solar exposure...

Oh yeah, definitely not worth $250. I get they are rare and retro, but that means they are probably dry and more likely to fall apart. Maybe...$75? and that’s still outrageous

You can always offer the inflation adjusted amount of the $ 8.57. So like $40 maybe lol? No way I would pay the asking price for those.

Yeah no way I am dropping twice as much as the lights cost . I am not dying to get these.

What’s the point of having lights and putting covers on them?

For when I am not running the lights like during the day. Protection from god knows what gets in front of the van while driving.

In some localities they’re required by law for off-road-only lights. I believe that’s true here in Indiana, although I doubt it’s widely enforced.

I would pay $250 Zimbabwe dollars for them given that a million Zimbabwe dollars is worth something like US$0.0001.

So you can’t turn them on and blind the shit out of oncoming traffic.
